Close Brothers Aim Vct PLC14 April 2008 CLOSE BROTHERS AIM VCT PLC SHARE PURCHASE, VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC announces that it has today purchased 10,000 Ordinaryshares at a price of 51 pence per share. This represents 0.02% of the totalnumber of voting rights in the Company before the transaction. Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC announces that it has today purchased 97,657 'D'shares at a price of 96 pence per share. This represents 0.22% of the totalnumber of voting rights in the Company before the transaction. These shares will be held in treasury. Following this transaction, and, in conformity with the Transparency Directive'stransitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the following; Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC's capital today consists of 29,522,615 Ordinaryshares and 15,846,847 'D' shares, both with a nominal value of 50p each, withvoting rights. The Company holds 843,075 Ordinary shares in Treasury and 462,475'D' shares in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC is44,063,912. The figure of 44,063,912 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for thecalculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or change to their interest in Close Brothers AIM VCT PLC under theFSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
