Persimmon PLC29 October 2007 Persimmon plc: Notice of share buyback Persimmon plc ("Persimmon") announces that on Friday, 26 October 2007 itpurchased 200,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 982.4p pence per share.The highest price paid was 993.0 pence per share and the lowest price paid was974.5 pence per share. The shares purchased will all be held as treasury shares. Persimmon currentlyholds 700,000 ordinary shares in treasury and following the purchase of theseshares Persimmon's issued share capital now consists of 301,889,247 ordinaryshares with voting rights (excluding treasury shares). The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for thecalculations, by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or a change to, their interest in Persimmon shares under the FSA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
