Three fatalities at OKD

New World Resources Plc ('NWR') regrets to announce three fatalities at OKD 1 (Darkov location). On Thursday, 6 August three workers died approximately 1,000 metres underground.

NWR expresses its deepest condolences to the families, relatives and friends of the deceased workers.

An investigative committee comprising members of the District Mining Authority in Ostrava, OKD 1 management, OKD, a.s. management, the OKD Trade Unions representatives, and the Police of the Czech Republic is now conducting an enquiry into the accident.
