RM PLC24 March 2005 24th March 2005 RM Group wins two prestigious Education Resources Awards RM plc, the UK's leading supplier of ICT and other products and services toeducation, has won two Education Resources Awards at the Education Show, whichtook place between the 17th and 19th March in Birmingham. The EducationResources Awards, which are presented annually, recognise education resourcesthat demonstrate excellence in quality and educational value. The RM One, the Group's innovative all-in-one PC designed especially for thedemanding classroom environment took the award for 'UK Innovation'. RM GroupCompany TTS took the 'Early Years' award for Tuff Spot and Active World Mats. The Education Resources Awards panel of judges, commenting on the RM One, saidthat they were: "... impressed by this all-in-one powerful, stylish PC built specifically foreducation, responding to real classroom issues, but not stinting onsophisticated design" Commenting on Tuff Spot and Active World Mats, they said: "Large trays with accompanying Active World mats make little creativeenvironments in which young children can play safely. The trays provide anopportunity for children to test and experience their world through play."
