Results of AGM and Retirement of Director

Maghreb Minerals Plc ("Maghreb" or "the Company"), announces that all resolutions proposed to the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held today were duly passed, with the exception of resolution 5. 

Resolutions 1 through 4; to approve the accounts, re-elect Gordon Riddler and Anthony Allen as directors of the Company and to re-appoint the auditors were each passed at the meeting.

The effect of resolution 5 not being passed is that the directors do not have the authority to allot relevant shares for cash other than through the statutory pre-emption procedure.

The Board would also like to formally thank Robyn Storer, who has retired as a director of the Company, for her considerable and valuable contribution since the Company was established. We wish Ms Storer every success for the future.

Following the retirement of Ms Storer, the directors' direct shareholding will be 460,000 shares, representing approximately 0.51% of the shares in issue.
