Exercise of Share Options

GB Group PLC25 January 2006 25th January 2006 GB GROUP PLC (the "Company") Exercise of Share Options The Company announces today that its executive directors have exercised optionsover 300,000 shares in the Company. The details are as follows: • Richard Law, Chief Executive, exercised his option over 200,000 shares (representing 0.25% of the issued share capital) in the Company at an exercise price of 14.25 pence per share. Following the exercise, Mr Law will have an interest in 987,604 shares in the Company representing 1.21% of the issued share capital of the Company. Mr Law retains further options over 1,470,000 shares in the Company. • Mona Navin-Mealey, Group Finance Director, exercised her option over 100,000 shares representing 0.12% of the issued share capital) in the Company at an exercise price of 14.25 pence per share. Following the exercise, Mrs Navin-Mealey will have an interest in 550,000 shares in the Company representing 0.67% of the issued share capital of the Company. Mrs Navin-Mealey retains further options over 375,000 shares in the Company. Both Mr Law and Mrs Navin-Mealey have indicated that it is their intention toretain the shares allotted to them pursuant to the above exercises. In addition, a senior manager of the Company has also exercised options over100,000 shares.
