Quintain Estates & Development PLC23 January 2008 Quintain Estates & Development PLC 23 January 2008 Interests of Directors and PDMRs QED announces that the Trustees of the Quintain Estates and Development PLCDeferred Bonus Plan notified the Company on 22 January 2008 that 12,559 ordinaryshares of 25p each had been purchased at a market price of £4.419849. Thepurpose of the purchase was to re-invest dividend income which had arisen inrespect of shares already held within the trust. The trust now holds 634,739ordinary shares against awards made to directors and staff in June 2005, 2006and 2007. Adrian Wyatt and Nicholas Shattock (all being directors of the Company) disclosean interest as trustees in the total holding of the Trust.
