Maghreb Minerals Plc ("the Company") announces that, as disclosed in the Company's interim results released yesterday, the resignations of Mr Richard Collier, the chief executive, and Mr Anthony Allen, a non-executive director, of the Company with effect from today.

The Board would like to thank Richard and Anthony for their contribution to the business during their period as Directors.

Richard Linnell becomes Executive Chairman having previously served as Non-Executive Chairman.
