BlackRock Emerging Europe plc - Change in directorate 10 October 2013 BlackRock Emerging Europe plc (the "Company") announces that Rory Landman willbe retiring as a Director of the Company and Chairman of the Audit Committeewith effect from 31 January 2014. Mr Landman has served as a Director of theCompany since 1 July 2007 and has been a valuable contributor to boardgovernance and strategy. Rachel Beagles will succeed Mr Landman as Chairman of the Audit Committee witheffect from 31 January 2014. Mrs Beagles joined the Board in March 2012 following a career in the financialmarkets, primarily in equity research and sales. She is currently SeniorIndependent Director of the Company and a non-executive Director of Schroder UKMid Cap Fund plc, Crown Place VCT plc, New India Investment Trust plc andSecurities Trust of Scotland plc.
