Clarification to preliminary results note 1(iii)

In note 1(iii) to the financial information included in our preliminary results announcement dated 7 March 2013, we stated that we had re-assessed the valuation of the IMI Pension Fund's interest in the IMI Scottish Limited Partnership following discussions with the Financial Reporting Review Panel during 2012. For the avoidance of any possible doubt, the Panel has asked us to clarify by making this statement that discussions between us are ongoing and that it is yet to conclude its enquiries into the company's accounting for the pension fund's interest in the limited partnership.
