Burren Energy PLC07 March 2007 Burren Energy plc ("the Company") --------------------------------------- Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange Plc for 204,998 Ordinary shares of 20p each("shares") to beadmitted to the Official List. It is expected that admission will be granted on 7 March 2007 and trading willcommence on 8 March 2007. These shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issuedpursuant to the following scheme: Scheme (s) Shares Performance Share Plan 204,998 When issued these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares.
