The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited Progress on acquisitions and potential further equity issuance

The Board of The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited ("TRIG" or the "Company") announces that, in light of progress being made on attractive acquisition opportunities in both onshore wind farms and solar PV parks identified by InfraRed Capital Partners Limited, TRIG's investment manager, it is actively considering an issue of additional equity. The current intention is that, subject to one or more of the potential acquisitions being finalised, the proposed fund-raising will take place in June/July 2015. Any such issue will be made from the Company's Share Issuance Programme which was launched in December 2014, under which the Company has 142.5 million new ordinary shares remaining available for issuance.

TRIG
