Telit Communications PLC03 October 2005 Press Release 3 October 2005 Telit Communications plc ("Telit" or "the Company") Appointment of Chairman Telit Communications plc (AIM:TCM), the global wireless communications developerand distributor, announces the appointment of Mr Avigdor Kelner as Chairman ofthe Board of Telit. Mr Kelner, aged 62, a partner of Shrem, Fudim, Kelner & Co. and Chairman and CEOof Polar Investments Ltd., as well as Urdan Industries. Mr Kelner co-foundedTelit and in his career spanning over 30 years, managed numerous global mergersand acquisitions and acquired vast experience and expertise in thecommunications, technology, industrial and real estate sectors. Mr Kelner holdsa BA in Economics and Statistics and an MBA from the Hebrew University inJerusalem. He is also a graduate of the Harvard University Management Program. Mr Yitzhak Apeloig, current Chairman of the Board, is resigning, on termsfinancially neutral to Telit, to focus on other business activities, none ofwhich compete with Telit's business. The Board of Telit would like to take thisopportunity to extend its thanks to Yitzhak for his contribution to thedevelopment of Telit and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.
