The following replaces the "Conversion of £50,000 6% 2024 Bonds" announcement released 21 May at 16:59 under RNS Number 6820S. The final line should refer to SkyePharma's issued share capital as at 28 May 2009 and not 28 March as previously stated. The full amended text appears below.

Conversion of £50,000 6% 2024 Bonds
Additional Listing
Application will be made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for an additional 13,477 Ordinary Shares of £1.00 each to be admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities. The additional Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing Ordinary Shares.
These shares will be issued following the conversion of £50,000 of 6% 2024 Convertible Bonds at a conversion price of £3.71.
Following the issue, SkyePharma's issued share capital as at 28 May 2009 will consist of 23,269,308 Ordinary Shares.
