Skyepharma PLC24 April 2006 For Immediate Release 24 April 2006 SkyePharma PLC ("the Company") Notification of Interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility (PDMRs) On 24th April 2006 the following Directors and PDMR were granted conditionalshare awards under the SkyePharma PLC Deferred Share Bonus Plan (the 'Plan')approved by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 6thJune 2001. The awards were calculated at a price per share of 38.00 pence (thethree day average prior to 24th April 2006):- Face Value of the Share Number of Shares Award Subject to AwardDirectors: Frank Condella £450,000 1,184,210 Donald Nicholson £265,000 697,368PDMR: Dr Kenneth Cunningham £250,000 657,894 These shares will only be released subject to the satisfaction of a comparativetotal shareholder return ('TSR') performance measure in three years time. 30%of shares will be released for median performance with full release onlyoccurring for upper quartile performance (straight line vesting between thesetwo points).
