SIG PLC12 February 2007 Directorate Change Board Appointment SIG plc announces the appointment, with immediate effect, of Mr ChristopherDavies as an Executive Director. Mr Davies (53) is Managing Director Europe withresponsibility for the Group's operations in Mainland Europe, a position he hasheld since 2001. He joined SIG in 1994 as a General Manager in the UK Insulationbusiness, before moving on to more senior positions within the SIG businessesthroughout Mainland Europe. He has extensive practical experience of operationalmanagement and M&A activity. Commenting on the appointment, SIG Chairman, Les Tench said:- "I am delighted towelcome Chris Davies to the Board. The growing importance of the Group'sEuropean operations, and our future development plans in Mainland Europe haveled the Board to decide that these activities should have direct representationat Group Board level."
