Red Rock Resources plc25 January 2008 RED ROCK RESOURCES PLC Update - investment in Mindax Limited and exploration Dated: 25 January 2008 Highlights • Holding in Mindax Ltd rises to 7.59% • Further sampling results at Mt Alfred Red Rock Resources plc (the 'Company'), the mineral exploration and developmentcompany focused on advancing iron ore, uranium and manganese projects inAustralia and East Africa, announces that it has further increased itsinvestment in Mindax Limited ('Mindax'), a mineral exploration company listed onthe Australian Stock Exchange ('ASX') under the trading symbol MDX. Anannouncement of this holding has also been made on the ASX. The Company hasacquired a further 1.108,601 shares in Mindax at a cost of £82,052, bringing itstotal holding to 6,400,000 shares as at 24 January 2008. This total holdingrepresents an interest of 7.59% in Mindax's issued ordinary share capital. Thepurchase is made for investment purposes. A further 13 sample results from the rock chip sampling programme carried out inNovember at Mt Alfred in Western Australia have been received. In the Mt Forrestarea adjoining Mindax's license, samples MA501 to MA509 continued the sampling afurther 500m along the ridge in a southerly direction, and gave values between50.75% and 64.54% Fe. At Brooking Hills in the south of the license, samplesBH50 to BH53 were taken approximately 1.5km to the north-east of sample BH-1,and gave results between 35.01% and 41.5% Fe. The samples taken at Mt Alfred South were taken in the schists and not from thebanded irons and showed nickel values up to 980 ppm.
