Red Rock Resources plc04 January 2008 RED ROCK RESOURCES PLC Investment in Mindax Limited Dated: 4 January 2008 Red Rock Resources plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce an investment inMindax Limited ('Mindax'), a mineral exploration company listed on theAustralian Stock Exchange ('ASX') under the trading symbol MDX. An announcementof this holding has also been made on the ASX. As at 31 December 2007, theCompany had purchased 4,375,000 ordinary shares in Mindax, at an aggregate costof AUD 589,267.53, a cost met from the Company's existing cash reserves. Underthe rules of the ASX, holdings in excess of 5% are disclosable, and this holdingrepresents an interest of 5.18% in Mindax's issued ordinary share capital. The Company holds the Mt Alfred tenement in the Eastern Goldfields of WesternAustralia, where iron mineralization is present and a sampling programme wascarried out in late 2007, the results of which are awaited. Mindax holdsadjacent tenements to the north and north-west, and to the south, and in recentexploration has encountered iron ore mineralization on strike from, and on theboundary of, the Mt Alfred tenement. The Company considers it likely that any development of iron ore production inthe area will require the co-operation of the two companies, and that Mindaxrepresents an attractive investment opportunity.
