On 8 September 2008, the Company received a notification from FIL Limited, under the obligations imposed by the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules that, as at 4 September 2008, it had a notifiable direct interest in the voting rights attached to 19,595,109 Ordinary 13 8/9p shares of The Rank Group Plc ("Rank") representing 5.02% of the total voting rights in Rank.
