Rank Group PLC03 April 2008 3 April 2008 Board changes Peter Gill to resign as finance director; appointment of Paddy Gallagher The Rank Group Plc ("Rank" or "the Group") announces that Peter Gill will resignfrom his position as finance director and as an executive director of the Rankboard. Peter Gill will remain with the Group until 1 June 2008, during which time hewill oversee a transition of responsibilities to his successor, Paddy Gallagher.Paddy, who will join the board of Rank as finance director on 2 June 2008, iscurrently chief financial officer at Quadriga Worldwide Limited. Peter Gill joined Rank as finance director in July 2005. During his time withthe Group, Rank underwent a £1.2bn programme of restructuring, which includedthe disposals of Deluxe Film, Deluxe Media, US Holidays and Hard Rock, a majorsale and leaseback transaction and, most recently, the sale of the Rank PensionPlan. Peter Johnson, chairman of Rank said: "Peter has been instrumental in thesuccessful and substantial restructuring of the Group over the last three years.He leaves Rank a focused gaming business, in a strong position to address itschallenges and opportunities.
