PJSC PolyusResults of exercise of pre-emptive right by shareholders
PJSC Polyus (LSE, MOEX - PLZL) ("Polyus" or the "Company") announces the results of the exercise of pre-emptive right to acquire the Company's shares of additional issue (registered by the Bank of Russia on 6 July 2020 under the registration number 1-01-55192-E-003D, placed by way of closed subscription), by shareholders of Polyus who, in accordance with Articles 40, 41 of the Russian Federal Law on Joint Stock Companies, had a pre-emptive right to acquire additional shares in the amount pro rata to their shareholdings in the Company.
The Company's shareholders could exercise their pre-emptive right until 21 September 2020. During the pre-emptive right period, eligible shareholders acquired a total of 174 of the Company's shares of additional issue. The shares were paid for in cash.
Polyus
Polyus is the world's fourth-largest gold mining company by production volumes, with the third-largest attributable gold reserves and the lowest production costs among major global gold producers. The company's principal operations are located in Siberia and the Russian Far East: Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk and Magadan regions and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
