Petra Diamonds Ld19 November 2007 For release 19 November 2007 AIM: PDL Petra Diamonds Limited Helicopter Accident in Angola Statement from Adonis Pouroulis, Chairman of Petra Diamonds ("Petra"): "Petra is greatly saddened to hear from BHP Billiton of the fatal helicopteraccident on Friday 16 November, approximately 80km from the Alto Cuilo camp inAngola. "On behalf of the Board and management team at Petra, I would like to extend ourdeepest condolences. Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathy go out to thosefamilies affected by this tragic event."
