Oxford Instruments plc has been notified by Legal & General and Hermes UK Small Companies Focus Fund of their starting point declaration under the DTR Source Book as at 20 January 2007 as follows:
Legal & General Group plc has an interest in 1,656,002 Ordinary Shares of 5p each which, represents 3.37% of the issued share capital of the Company. The number of voting rights is also 1,656,002.
Hermes UK Small Companies Focus Fund has an interest in 5,476,726 Ordinary Shares of 5p each which, represents 11.175% of the issued share capital of the Company. The number of voting rights is also 5,476,726. This disclosure was made by Hermes Investment Management Limited as agent on behalf of Hermes UK Small Companies Focus Fund.
