EXERCISE OF OPTIONS, PDMR SHAREHOLDING AND DIRECTORS' SHARE INTERESTS

The Company has today been notified that Mr P A Fletcher, a director of the Company, has today transferred 100,000 shares to his children. The share transfer was made for nil consideration.

The Company also announces that it has been notified of the exercise of options today under the executive share-option scheme by Mr P E Hadsley-Chaplin and Mr P A Fletcher, both directors of the Company. Mr P E Hadsley-Chaplin exercised his options over 26,895 10p shares granted at 158.95p per share. Mr P A Fletcher also exercised his options over 26,895 shares granted at 158.95p per share. Accordingly, the Company has issued Mr P E Hadsley-Chaplin 26,895 shares and Mr P A Fletcher 26,895 shares.

At the same time, Mr P E Hadsley-Chaplin sold 26,895 shares at 526.5p per share and Mr P A Fletcher sold 26,895 shares at 526.5p per share.

As a result of the share transfers, exercise of the options and the share disposals, these directors' holdings in the shares of the Company are now as follows:-

In conformity with the Financial Conduct Authority's ("FCA") Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company would like to notify the market of the following:

Following the allotment of 53,790 new shares referred to above, the Company's issued share capital consists of 54,976,752 shares of 10p each with voting rights. The Company holds no shares in Treasury. The above figure of 54,976,752 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1.
