Disclosure of interests in shares

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc (the "Company") today received notification that City Developments Limited ("CDL") had acquired 2,130,000 ordinary shares in the Company (the "Shares"). The Shares were purchased today and are held through Reach Across International Limited, a subsidiary of CDL.

Following the acquisition of the Shares, CDL indirectly holds 194,786,624 ordinary shares in the Company, being approximately 60.005% of the issued share capital of the Company.
