Mears Group PLC15 December 2005 MEARS GROUP PLC ("the Company") 15 December 2005 Director's shareholding The Company was notified on 14 December 2005 that on the same day Mr Bob Holtsold 2,700,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares") at a priceof 300 pence per Share. Following this transaction Mr Holt has an interest in 500,000 representing 0.85per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital and options over485,000 shares. Bob Holt commented "I remain committed to the continuing growth of Mears and along term holder of my remaining interest in the Company.
