THE LINDSELL TRAIN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC (the 'Company')
Listing Rule 15.5.1 (4) - Transactions in a Close Period
In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1 (4), the Directors of the Company confirm that:
a) they are satisfied that all inside information known to the Directors and the Company up to the date of this notice has been notified to a Regulated Information Service ('RIS'); and
b) if either the Company or directors or other persons discharging managerial responsibilities, or person(s) connected with them, should come into possession of any unpublished price sensitive information prior to the announcement of the annual results of the Company for the year ended 31 March 2012, they will not deal in the Company's own securities until such time as the unpublished price sensitive information ceases to be price sensitive or has been notified to a RIS.
As a result of the above the Company, its Directors and persons discharging managerial responsibilities take exemption from the close company provisions of the Model Code in respect of dealings in the Company's own securities during the period leading up to the announcement of results.
