Lancashire Holdings Limited ("Lancashire") was advised on 6 February 2009 that, SAB Capital Partners, L.P., SAB Capital Partners II, L.P. and SAB Overseas Master Fund, L.P. (collectively, the "SAB Funds") have decreased their ownership interest in aggregate to 6,846,285 of Lancashire's common shares of US$0.50 par value each.
Consequently, as of 9 February 2009 SAB Funds' shareholding in Lancashire represents approximately 3.96% of the total current issued share capital.
