JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production ("KMG EP" orthe "Company") located at: 2, Tauelsizdik Str. Astana, is hereby informing itsshareholders of an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders ("EGM")initiated by the Board of Directors of the Company scheduled for January 23,2008 at 10.30am at: 10th floor, conference-hall, 2, Tauelsizdik str., Astana,Republic of Kazakhstan. Agenda for the EGM: 1. Approval of the Procedure for Valuation of Shares at repurchase by the Company;2. Early termination of powers of the member of the Board of Directors of the Company.3. Election of new member of the Board of Directors of the Company. The registration of the shareholders will start at 9:00 am.The registration of the shareholders will be finished at 10:00am. In case of the lack of a quorum a repetitious extraordinary general meeting ofshareholders will take place on January 24, 2008 at 10:30am with the same agendaat the same address.
