DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST IN SHARES

The Company received notification on 8 October 2009 that Legal & General Group plc, in the name of Legal & General Assurance (Pensions Management) Limited (PMC), have decreased their notifiable interest from 25,631,817 to 25,566,424 Ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, representing 3.99% of the relevant share capital.  This results in their number of voting rights being 25,566,424 (direct).
