Hongkong Land Hldgs Ld20 December 2006 HONGKONG LAND HOLDINGS LIMITED ("HKLH") DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST - SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDER HKLH was notified on 19th December 2006 that the nature of Jardine StrategicHoldings Limited's ("JSH") interest in 69,561,004 HKLH shares, representing3.03% of its issued share capital, had changed from a deemed interest to adirect beneficial interest on 19th December 2006. This followed the acquisitionby JSH of 69,561,004 HKLH shares from The Hongkong Land Company, Limited at aprice of US$3.86 per share. JSH's total interest in HKLH remains unchanged at46.11%. By virtue of its interest in JSH, Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited is deemed tobe interested in the same number of HKLH shares.
