Work Group plc18 July 2007 Work Group plc - Trading update 18 July 2007 Following the conclusion of the first half of the current financial year, theboard of Work Group plc, the AIM listed HR consulting services company ("WorkGroup" or the "Company"), is pleased to release the following trading update: The first half saw Work Group continue to make progress across all of itsoperations. Overall results for the period will be in line with the Board'sexpectations and ahead of last year. A very strong performance in Employer Marketing has been particularly pleasing,aided by some significant client wins. Income growth in Executive Research andRPO was a little slower than planned. As previously highlighted, we haverecently increased our investment in the sales and business developmentactivities of the RPO division and expect the returns from this to begin to showthrough in the second half of the year. Commenting, Simon Howard, Executive Chairman said: "Work Group continues to deliver. The first six months have been especially busywith some notable new business wins and the opening of our New York office.Whilst we remain, as ever, selective with acquisitions and reluctant to forecasttiming, we do note a much higher level of potential M & A activity.
