RusHydro's Board of Directors sets the AGM date and the record date
JSC RusHydro (ticker symbol: RTS, MICEX, LSE: HYDR; OTCQX: RSHYY) announces the results of the Board oа Directors meeting held in absentia April 17, 2012.

The Board of Directors made a decision to conduct the AGM June 8th, 2012 at the following address: 129 Prospect Mira, Krasnoyarsk, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Russia.
The AGM is scheduled to begin at 12pm local time; participant registration for the AGM will start at 10am local time.
The record date for persons that have the right to take part in the AGM is April 23rd, 2012.

The Board of Directors has approved an agreement on providing consulting services to prepare quarterly financial statements of JSC RAO ES of the East in accordance with IFRS, concluded by RusHydro and RAO ES of the East, which is an interested party transaction. The Board of Directors also set a price for the agreement.
Within the framework of the agreement, RusHydro will provide consulting services to RAO ES of the East with regard to preparing quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS. The agreement will be in effect from April 30th, 2012 to April 30th, 2015.
Previously, RAO ES of the East's financial statements were prepared by an external consultant. The calculated cost of RusHydro's services on the agreement concluded with RAO ES of the East is 60% lower, compared with the average cost of similar services provided by external consultants.
