Pursuant to paragraph 9.6.14 of the UKLA Listing Rules, Go-Ahead confirms that Katherine Innes Ker has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of Victoria PLC with effect from 6 March 2012. Katherine will also be Chairman of the Victoria PLC Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
The Board of Go-Ahead is also pleased to announce that Katherine Innes Ker has been appointed Chairman of Go-Ahead's Remuneration Committee with immediate effect. Katherine, who has been an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company since July 2010, replaces Rupert Pennant-Rea who, having served on the Board for nine years must now be considered as not independent. Rupert Pennant-Rea continues to serve as a Non-Executive Director and a member of the Remuneration, Audit and Nomination Committees.
