Galliford Try PLC21 December 2007 GALLIFORD TRY PLC PURCHASE OF SHARES BY THE GALLIFORD TRY EMPLOYEE SHARE TRUST Galliford Try plc (the "Company") announces that the Galliford Try EmployeeShare Trust on 20 December 2007 purchased 1,150,000 ordinary shares of 5p eachin the Company ("shares") at an average price of 98.185p and on 21 December 2007purchased 1,350,000 shares at an average price of 101.66p. The said shares(representing approximately 0.66% of the Company's issued share capital) werepurchased to meet the future maturing options under the Company's share-basedlong term incentive plans. Following the purchase, the Galliford Try EmployeeShare Trust now holds shares 5,365,475 shares (representing approximately 1.42%of the Company's issued share capital).
