FIRST QUANTUM MINERALS TO PUBLISH FIRST QUARTER 2010 RESULTS ON MAY 10, 2010

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. ("First Quantum" or the "Company", TSX Symbol "FM", LSE Symbol "FQM")will publish its 2010 first quarter results on Monday, May 10, 2010 after the close of the TSX.
