25 July 2014 FirstGroup plc Transfer of shares held in treasury FirstGroup plc (the "Company") announces that on 25 July 2014 it transferred toparticipants in the Company's employee SAYE scheme 352 ordinary shares for theearly exercise of options under the SAYE 2012 scheme at a price of 117.339pence per share. The shares were all formerly held as treasury shares. Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, the Company holds atotal of 159,179 of its ordinary shares in treasury. The total number ofordinary shares in issue excluding treasury shares is 1,204,767,577.
