Transaction in Own Shares
24 June 2014 - Experian plc, the global information services company (the "Company"), hereby notifies the market, in conformity with Listing Rule 12.4.6R, of the following:-
Further to the announcement by the Company on 7 May 2014 of share repurchases during the year ending 31 March 2015 in respect of employee share plan awards which vest during the year, the Company announces that, on 24 June 2014, it purchased 200,000 of its ordinary shares of 10 US cents each ("ordinary shares") at an average price of 995.0111p per share (minimum price of 989p and maximum price of 1004p). The shares purchased will initially be held as treasury shares.
Following the purchase, the Company holds 40,368,421 ordinary shares in treasury. Since announcing the intended share repurchases on 7 May 2014, the Company has purchased 4,000,000 of its ordinary shares. The total number of shares in issue (excluding shares held in treasury) following this announcement is 991,280,078.
