Transaction in Own Shares
4 June 2014 - Experian plc, the global information services company (the "Company"), hereby notifies the market, in conformity with Listing Rule 12.4.6R, of the following:-
Further to the announcement by the Company on 7 May 2014 of share repurchases during the year ending 31 March 2015 in respect of employee share plan awards which vest during the year, the Company announces that, on 4 June 2014, it purchased 120,000 of its ordinary shares of 10 US cents each ("ordinary shares") at an average price of 1034.6634p per share (minimum price of 1030p and maximum price of 1039p). The shares purchased will initially be held as treasury shares.
Following the purchase, the Company holds 38,428,421 ordinary shares in treasury. Since announcing the intended share repurchases on 7 May 2014, the Company has purchased 2,060,000 of its ordinary shares. The total number of shares in issue (excluding shares held in treasury) following this announcement is 993,218,064.
