Result of Extraordinary General Meeting
20 November 2012 - Experian plc, the global information services company, hereby notifies the market that, at the extraordinary general meeting of the Company held earlier today, the ordinary resolution contained in the notice of meeting was duly passed by shareholders. The purpose of the extraordinary general meeting was to seek shareholder approval for the proposed acquisition of an additional 29.6% interest in Serasa S.A. (and the Related Party Transaction), as detailed in the Shareholder Circular dated 2 November 2012.
In accordance with the terms of the Transaction Agreement, and following approval by the competition authorities in Brazil on 7 November 2012, completion of the transaction is expected to occur shortly, and a further announcement will be made in due course.
