APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Board of Essentra plc ("Essentra" or "the Company") today announces the appointment of Tommy Breen as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Tommy is currently Chief Executive of DCC plc ("DCC"), a FTSE-listed international sales, marketing, distribution and business support services group, headquartered in Dublin and with operations in 13 countries. Before being appointed Chief Executive in 2008, Tommy worked in a number of senior management positions across DCC, gaining significant experience of growing diverse businesses both organically and via acquisition during his 30-year career with the Group.
Commenting on today's announcement, Jeff Harris, Chairman, said: "On behalf of the entire Board, I am delighted to welcome Tommy to Essentra. Tommy Breen confirms that there are no other details to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 (2) to (6).
As at the date of this announcement, Tommy Breen does not have an interest in the ordinary shares of Essentra.
