Electra Private Equity PLC15 June 2007 Electra Private Equity PLC Press Release 15 June 2007 Electra confirms the sale of Capital Safety Group for $565m Electra Private Equity PLC (Electra) is pleased to announce that the conditionalagreement for the sale of its interest in Capital Safety Group (CSG), which wasannounced on 3 May 2007, has now been completed following the receipt ofcompletion clearance decisions. Subsequent to the sale, Electra has agreed to reinvest $35m in the secondarybuyout vehicle established by Candover Partners Ltd to acquire CSG. The newinvestment comprises $10m of mezzanine as part of a syndication by HBOS and a$25m equity participation.
