Board Appointment 

Eckoh plc (AIM: ECK), the global provider of secure payment products and customer contact solutions, today announces the strengthening of its Board with the appointment of Mr Peter Simmonds as Non-Executive Director with effect from 21 July 2016. Peter's appointment follows the announcement at the time of Preliminary Results in June 2016 that Clive Ansell, currently a Non-Executive Director of the Company, intends to step down from the Board at Eckoh's forthcoming Annual General Meeting in September.

Peter Simmonds was Chief Executive Officer of dotDigital Group plc for eight years and a major contributor to dotDigital's success. Following his retirement in June 2015 he stepped down into the role of Non-Executive Director. Peter commenced his career in 1976 as a trainee accountant with Unilever Plc and has over 35 years of experience at senior management and board level, principally in the areas of software, banking, insurance, finance and outsourcing. He has considerable business entrepreneurial experience having been involved at start up or early stage of a number of companies in various industry sectors including consultancy services, vehicle leasing, computer software and internet solutions sectors. Peter also has experience of business acquisition and post-acquisition integration. Peter currently also holds board positions in the role of Chairman at Cloudcall Group plc and IS Solutions plc (both AIM-quoted companies).
