RESULTS OF RUMP PLACING
e2v technologies plc announces that RBS Hoare Govett Limited, acting as Bookrunner and Broker, has procured subscribers for all of the 2,718,207 new ordinary shares of 5 pence in the capital of the Company (the "New Shares") to be issued pursuant to the 9 for 7 Rights Issue of 120,854,782 New Shares announced on 29 October 2009 for which valid acceptances were not received at a price of 60 pence per New Share. RBS Hoare Govett Limited has also procured subscribers for 268 New Shares representing the aggregated fractional entitlements.
The premium over the aggregate of the Rights Issue Price of 28 pence per New Share and the expenses of procuring subscribers will be paid to Shareholders who have not taken up their entitlements pro rata to their lapsed provisional allotments, provided that individual amounts of less than £5.00 will not be paid to such persons but will be paid to the Company.
The proceeds from the sale of the fractional entitlements will accrue for the benefit of the Company.
