APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
De La Rue plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Victoria Jarman as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.
Ms Jarman started her career in 1995 with KPMG, before moving to Lazard Corporate Finance in 1998. She went on to be appointed Chief Operating Officer of Lazard's London and Middle East operations, where she remained until 2009. She was also a Board member of Lazard & Co., Limited and a member of the European Management Committee. She has worked closely with the Boards of major FTSE companies and businesses advising them on a variety of strategic options. Ms Jarman is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Commenting on the appointment Nicholas Brookes, Chairman of De La Rue plc said:
"Victoria Jarman has had an impressive career and brings with her valuable experience of working with large blue chip companies and in the banking sector. She will make a valuable contribution to the Board and the strategic direction of the Group."
There is nothing which is required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of Victoria Jarman.
