23 December 2014 Andrew Williams appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Capita plc Capita plc ('Capita') announces the appointment of Andrew Williams as anIndependent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2015. Andrew willbe appointed to Capita's Nomination, Remuneration and Audit and Risk Committeeson his appointment to the Board. Andrew is Chief Executive of Halma plc, a leading specialist in safety, healthand environmental technologies and a FTSE 250 company. He was appointed ChiefExecutive in February 2005. Andrew started his career at Halma in 1994 asManufacturing Director of a subsidiary company and went on to hold a wide rangeof senior management positions across the Group. Andrew is a Chartered Engineerand a production engineering graduate of Birmingham University. He attended theAdvanced Management Program at Wharton Business School, University ofPennsylvania in 2004. Andy Parker, Chief Executive of Capita plc, commented; "Andrew brings a wealth of experience gained from his senior leadership andoperational management roles across a wide range of industry sectors andcountries.
