Europasia Education PLC11 May 2006 11 May 2006 EUROPASIA EDUCATION PLC: INVESTEE CHINESE COMPANY FOR OFEX EuropAsia Education plc ("EPE") announces that its investee company, DalianBusiness Institute Ltd ("DBIL"), a Chinese educational facilities managementgroup, has applied to list on Ofex, with the anticipated first day of trading 23May 2006, and has successfully raised the £1.5 million funding it was seeking. The market capitalisation on listing will be approximately £20 million, whichwill put it in the top 20 stocks on Ofex by market capitalisation. Jerseyincorporated DBIL has a 25 year management contract to run the Dalian BusinessInstitute ("DBI") in Liaoning Province, China. DBI specialises in business and arts subjects, and has over 5,000 students. Thefunds raised by DBIL will be used as working capital, as it seeks to expand itsfacilities to meet growing demand for its courses. EPE holds a 12 per cent stake in DBIL, which it acquired for £1.1 million, andGeorge Allnutt and Victor Ng, EPE directors, are on the Board of DBIL.
