Europasia Education PLC24 May 2007 24 May 2007 EUROPASIA EDUCATION plc Appointment of new Chief Executive Europasia Education plc ("EPE" or "the Company"), the AiM listed educationalinvestment group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Benson Day to theBoard of the Company as Chief Executive, with effect from 24 May 2007. Benson, aged 59, has over 30 years experience in corporate finance, mergers andacquisitions, and commodities investments across Asia. While working for KPMGTaipei, where he qualified as an accountant, he was instrumental in fosteringthe first wave of Taiwan's financial and investment liberalization in the late1980s. He has helped launch several successful ventures in China and South EastAsia, and co founded the International Association of Energy Economics(Singapore). Benson has significant expertise in the commodity and energy sectors, currentlymanaging a private commodity fund with its own proprietary bench mark commodityindex. His specialism is in rare commodities for which there is currently nofutures market, and those commodities used in clean technology and the energysector. Benson Day said "I look forward to applying my contacts and experience to assistthe EPE Board in devising a revised strategy for taking the Company forward."
