Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 18 September 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 319.2542 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 321.10 pence and 316.80 pence respectively. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.
On 18 September 2014, Centrica plc cancelled 20,015,745 ordinary shares which were held as treasury shares which represents 0.4% of the Company’s issued share capital.
As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 54,000,000 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,005,928,281 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
