Notification of Transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMRs")
Close Brothers Group plc ("the Company") was advised on 31 July 2009 by Martin Andrew (a PDMR of the Company) of the following transactions in the Ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company ("Shares"):
1. The exercise on 31 July 2009 of 1,822 awards over nil-cost Shares following satisfaction of the performance conditions under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan 2004.
2. Following the exercise of the awards referred to above 1,822 Shares were sold on 31 July 2009 on the London Stock Exchange at 688.5 pence per share.
Following the above transactions, Mr Andrews' total beneficial holding in the Company is nil.
